TaxTak is a motorcycle tax collection system designed for Kongo Central province: every motorcycle registered with a service number, payment terminals carried by recruited agents, a receipt handed to the rider as proof they may ride, and real-time tracking of what each agent has collected and banked. Designed in 2022, it was never deployed.

The problem

A tax that is hard to collect, revenue slipping away from the province and little visibility over the motorcycle fleet.

The solution

A digital motorcycle register and terminal-based collection, traced agent by agent — creating jobs and revenue for roads and parking along the way.

My contribution

Designed the system and the proposal, and chose the stack.
